I offer first class service to my clients because I am dedicated to the three underlying principles of professionalism, responsiveness and quality.  As a graduate of Winona State University I began my career by opening my first accounting practice in Rochester Minnesota. For over 15 years I provided businesses, individuals, and government with bookkeeping, tax, and accounting services allowing them to concentrate on growing their organization. In 2003 I moved to Shakopee, MN and continued my professional career in accounting and tax, with an emphasis on business consulting. As more and more business began to rely on accountants to provide services, I saw business owners disappear from the day to day management role. This movement resulted in placing too much reliance on outside bookkeepers and little management involvement.

You can never replace management with outside services, but whats more important, is to learn ways that will give you the knowledge and tools you need to make decisions that will help you meet your goals and objectives. My responsibility is to keep you abreast of information that is constantly changing and recommend strategic choices that will help you today and the future. 

As a father of three wonderful children, I enjoy spending time attending various school related functions and helping them grow to become caring young adults.  When I am not on the golf or tennis court, you can find me singing in the barbershop chorus.  However, that doesn't prevent me from performing my duties as commissioner of the City of Shakopee's Planning Commission and Board of Adustments and Appeals.  Volunteering my time and talents to residence in the community and neighborhood helps me to appreciate what is often taken for grant it, but is so very important to those less fortunate.
